Hunting season is here in my neck of the woods; Dove season started on the 1st, and Canadian Goose season starts on the 5th.
There was a great blog post I just read about women and hunting. I thought it was interesting that so many women felt this way about how women are portrayed in the realm of hunting, and more exact, the business of hunting.
I wanted to make sure I posted it here and hoped it would spark some comments about your own thoughts on this subject.

The County Fair has passed and school has started. Which means my personal favorite time of year is just about here; Fall. The weather cools down a bit, so being outside is that much more enjoyable.
Distance running in the fall is a blast! It always smells so good and the sun doesn’t seem to fry you the way it does in the summer. And the colors are phenomenal! I live in the country, so we’ve got plenty of trees; Amur Maples, Silver Maples, Black Hills Spruce, plum trees, every kind imaginable that would make a good wind break. Gorgeous!
I have learned to dress for the chilly mornings though, layers are important. I shed them as I warm up. It’s important that you’ve got some moisture-wicking layers next to your skin, the fleece or cotton as the middle layer, and a wind breaking layer on the outside if needed.
Get out there and enjoy it, fall never seems to last very long…

Well, after a lot of hardwork, on many fronts, here we are! I hope everyone visiting this site enjoys the contents, articles, and of course the clothing!
Quality outdoor clothing for women is obviously the backbone of this website. If any one of you has any suggestions as to what we can do better, or would like to see us carry a line of clothing that you don’t see here, don’t hesitate to let us know .
